It’s interesting to know that something broken can be as beautiful as this. The subject is well captured, sir! I like the “gold” color in it very much. It reminds me of the Yamashita Treasure.
Hi Sony! Thanks for your comment as always. I consider all the things inside the temple which had this statue as treasures and I am glad the people who built the temple are allowing visitors to see the wood sculptures inside the temple.
if there’ll be a winner of this challenge then it would be this photo..the broken part is very noticeable wherein looking at it make you agree that it still beautiful.you should entitle it with “The broken fingers” hehehehe
Thanks for your comment John. Along the same vein of your comment, I think the statue would be less perfect had it been perfect and without any broken part.
Ouch!

Hi! Great broken shot. I know that hands are the most important feature of the statue so this is great. Thanks for sharing!

This is awesome! I love how the wooden hands on this sculpture can actually be expressive. And, as another commenter noted, the colors are beautiful.

“Broken” gives things character and you have certainly conveyed that in this post.
Thank you for your comment supersnails. I think it is the imperfections that provides character in everything.
Broken but still so distinguished, if not more so.
Thanks for your comment Patti!
